You are saving for your wedding
Give me a break, who doesn’t want to get married, and start a family of his own? I am not saying spend every penny and forget about getting married or having a family, but please don’t put your life on hold until you get married, you deserve to enjoy your single life, embrace it, and travel the world.

You are a work slave
Even if you have the most demanding job in the world, you deserve a vacation, and giving up on it would make you frustrated, exhausted, unhappy and unproductive.
To awaken quite alone in a strange town is one of the pleasantest sensations in the world. ~ Freya Stark.

You are broke
You go out everyday, can’t survive a day without buying coffee from the coffee shop around the corner, you shop like crazy, and buy unnecessary stuff, you order food everyday at work instead of getting it home cooked, so you end up spending ridiculous amounts of money, then you complain about being broke, and not capable to travel. Rings a bell?

Your false belief that it requires a fortune
It’s expensive only if you choose expensive destinations, spend unwisely, travel at high seasons, or stay and eat at luxurious places during the whole trip, you can cut off lots of unnecessary spendings if only you stay on a tight budget, or at least not spending the whole vacation at luxurious places.

Exchange rates suck
If you are going to wait for better rates, then sadly you’d wait for a very long time -God knows-, so try to save a monthly amount for your travels, and to always travel on a budget, here are tips to show you how.

The Visa process is a killer
Yes, yes, yeeees! It’s the worst thing about traveling, a complete turn-off, but look at the bright side; first there are still visa free countries for Egyptian Passport holders, and secondly after all the suffering you will get to travel and enjoy a lovely vacation in a beautiful country of your choice.

You get bored of the booking process & don’t want to get ripped off
Come on, it’s not as difficult as you think it is, you can become your own travel agent, because booking online can’t get any easy, from flights, hotels, cars, to museum & tour tickets, a concert, or a dinner. Just choose reliable websites, and have a valid credit card.
Travel preparations and logistics are pretty hectic
You are all over the place, have to hand over your work, work for extra hours maybe, pack, shop, and run errands –you can save time a lot of time by booking your vacation online– but, who cares, what you are about to experience is totally worth the effort.

You can’t find someone to travel with
You have been at least once victim of a fake statement like “yalla bina”, “ana daysa gidan”, “nesafer wesh”, and you ended up with tons of promises -mahowa el kalam mesh be felous, lol-, no execution, and you wanting to travel so bad but finding no one to travel with. So what? You can always travel alone, or join a random group of people, it will be a great opportunity to meet with new people.

You think that you have to start by traveling locally before traveling internationally
Stop telling yourself that before you travel abroad you have to visit every part of Egypt first, because you will more or less end up not doing both. Seize every opportunity that comes your way, traveling locally and internationally are of equal importance, and benefits so no harm in doing both.
You are addicted to the thought that visiting countries other than Egypt will be a “Kheyanaaaa”
Dude chill, nobody said that Egypt is ugly, or is asking you to flee, our country is in fact so beautiful offering a bazillion of things to see, and do, however there is no harm in visiting other countries, it’s actually very healthy and beneficial as you learn, grow, accept differences, and understand other cultures, it also opens your eyes, heart and mind.
You think “if not now, than later”

Wow, that’s a big list, I would say do Czech-Austria-Hungary or the other way round, or Italy in 2 weeks which is a great idea you’d see all of it, or you could do Greece then take a boat to Italy 😀
