Baggage policy

Aegean passengers' are able to take advantage of free baggage allowance within the following criteria

Checked-In Baggage

The free baggage allowance varies depending on the destination and departure city. For flights between Greece and Egypt, the free baggage allowance is set as follows:

  • Economy Class: 1 bag = 23kg.
  • Business Class: 2 bags = 32kg.

Hand Baggage/Luggage

  • Economy Class: 1 bag = 8kg.
  • Business Class: 2 bags = 8kg and 5kg respectively.
  • One piece of hand baggage weighing up to 7kg plus one small handbag or a slim line laptop sized bag
  • Extra bags can be purchased online at a discounted rate of 30% up to 24 hours prior to flight departure

Check in

At most airports, regular check-in begins 3 hours before departure and closes 1 hour prior to it.

Web check-in makes the process much more simple as you can check-in from your computer, choose your seat and print your boarding pass 48 hours and up to 30 minutes before departure.

You can also do it yourself wherever available with Self Check-in Kiosks! Allowing you to check-in, choose your seat and get your boarding pass 24 hours and up to 30 minutes before departure.
