Where: The Netherlands Embassy in Zamalek
What: The Embassy of the Netherlands is inviting everybody -whether amateur or professional- who’s into cycling to join their Orange Bike Day. During this event people will start their cycle throughout Zamalek, following a pre-planned route map.
When: November 7th from 8 am till 11:30 am. At 8 am there will be a welcome tea or coffee, the ride will start at 9 am sharp, and it will end at 10:30am. After the ride all cyclers are invited to enjoy snacks and drinks, and there will be other exciting challenges for those who didn’t get enought.
Ticket Price: Free admission, just bring your bike, borrow your friend’s or rent one from Besceletta who has a limited number of bikes on a first come, first serve basis.

Dress code: Preferably be dressed in orange.

Where: BISC, SODIC West in 6th of October
What: Is a challenge made for athletes -who have been through a qualifications phase- whether professionals or non-professionals to compete with fellow sports and fitness fanatics. If you are not participating as an athlete, you can come and cheer for Egypt’s ELFIT 2014. The event will also host Egypt’s first Fitness EXPO, where you get to enjoy and learn about all that’s hot and new in the fitness world with free fun and educational trial sessions given by the participating facilities, in addition to the fan zone, with fun mini-challenges for all fitness levels-even beginners.
Travelstart Egypt Sponsorship: Travelstart Egypt is giving away to each First Winner in the Males & Females categories one flight ticket to anywhere in Europe, in addition to running a Tambola that is open to everyone who’s attending the event for a chance to win one domestic flight ticket to anywhere in Egypt.
When: November 21st & 22nd.

Cairo Fashion Festival
Where: Cairo Festival City Mall in Tagamoa.
What: The third Cairo Fashion Festival is taking place this november to showcase the latest Autumn/Winter 2014 collections brought to you by some of the most talented names and brands in the industry. With over 50 exhibitors, 15 runway shows, live entertainment and fashion related keynotes.
When: November 7th from 11am till 10pm.

Kids & Family Fun
Where: Hayah International Academy in New Cairo.
What: The festival is aimed at celebrating the love for Egypt’s many facets. It will offer fun and games for the family & kids, performances such as El Laila El Kebeera, along with many Egyptian initiatives joining such as The Satellite Dish Paintings, an Art Competition Award Ceremony where students from many different International schools who have already been working on art projects with the theme of Egypt from their eyes will be competing on the best art piece, horses, camel and Karetta rides and many more.
When: November 7th from 10am till 7pm.
Ticket Price: 30 L.E.

Where: Sheikh Zayed City, Al Bostan Road, starting from Americana Plaza Roundabout.
What: The Festival will be commemorating the city’s 20th Anniversary through various exciting activities, including the first Street Parade, a Marathon raising awareness for breast cancer, interactive games such as live Angry Birds & Monopoly, live entertainment, a shopping fair and more.
When: November 15th from 10am till 10pm.
Ticket Price: Free admission.

El-Korba Festival by Ahmed Abd El-Fatah
Koshary Festival (postponed to Jan. 17th, 2014)
Where: Al-Hurraya Park, in Zamalek, Cairo
What: Egypt’s biggest food festival featuring a 100 different food outlets in addition to cooking the World’s Biggest Koshary in a circular plate 10 meters wide and 1.20 meters high, weighing 8000+ KG to break a Guiness World Record. The best part is that they are partnering with the Egyptian Food Bank and the UN World Food Program in Egypt to pack and distribute the Koshary after it is cooked to feed the hungry and poor street children in Cairo.
When: November 22nd from 11am till 9pm.
Ticket Price: 70 LE including entry and food tasting from some restaurants. Last day to buy tickets is November 10th.
