South America is a continent filled with pretty amazing places that you only thought exist in Fairytales. But guess what, most places that jumped into your beautiful imagination before you sleep or while day dreaming do exist in South America in its different countries, that is why this continent’s country should be on your bucket list. Definitely, South America will never fail you and will meet up with all the expectations you have.
1.Chile
That beautiful country of South America, is a narrow country with a rugged coast. It’s filled with a lot of breath taking places that you should have in your travel list.
Glacier Alley
It’s an amazing stretch of water of the beagle channel, it’s formed of a shore of Glaciers that has been drifted down from massive Darwin Ice Field. It’s amazingly beautiful scene, with the blue water, surrounded by ice peaks as if you have fallen into “Narnia” the movie. A place not to miss definitely.
Easter Island
It’s a Chilean territory that is a remote volcanic island in Polynesia. That highlight of this island is that it’s filled with archeological sites and ruins of houses that belong to the inhabitants of 13th to 16th centuries. Not to mention that it has about 900 statues called Moai. Those Moai are human figures carved with largely sized heads which makes them specifically attractive and unique. Yup you are guessing right they are the sculpture that used to say in night at the museum movie, ” Hey dumb dumb, give me gum gum”. But does it end there? Of course not, on this island you can go Zip lining, horse riding and cave snorkeling which are pretty interesting places to visit.
Language:
The most spoken language in Chile is Spanish, so if you speak Spanish well you will be able to communicate Easily.

2.Colombia
That amazingly cheerful country is found at the tip of the continent of South America. It’s famous for it’s coffee as it has vast areas of coffee plantations. Not to mention its rainforests and Andes Mountains.
Lost City Of Colombia
It’s a lost city just like Machu Picchu with the exception that if compared the one in Colombia defeats it due to its outstanding beauty. Lost City has an architecture based on terraces made with an enigmatic disposition and a unique design never seen before in any ancient city in America. Not to mention that hiking the path to it is such a great adventure in the rainforests.

Ajiaco is a very popular dish in Colombia. It is a soup containing chicken, two or three different types of potato, corn, capers, avocado and sour cream. It has a very distinct taste and it is widely spread through Colombia , so you will be able to have it most of the time.
3.Peru
That Beautiful country has a marvelous blend of history and nature. It holds part of the Amazon rainforest which of course holds a lot of creatures that you only see when yo watch Nat Geo. It is also filled with archeological sites, Machu Picchu the lost city of Incan civilization located high in the Andes.
Rainbow Mountain
It Is an amazing mountain that is made up of different colors or red, mustard yellow, green and powdered blue. when you reach it you will feel like you are daydreaming fro its stunning beauty. though it takes 6 days hike to reach it, its worth it.
Language
Spanish, Aymara, Quechua, so I guess we will go for Spanish while being there.

Aji de Gallina (Creamy Chicken), it is actually shredded chicken bathes in a thick sauce made with cream, ground walnuts, cheese, and aji amarillo.
4. Bolivia
that country that falls in the central part of South America is rich with its rainforest part, the Atacama Desert and the Andes mountains. A country worth visiting one day.
El Salar de Uyuni
It is the world’s largest salt flat. It’s the legacy of a prehistoric lake that went dry, leaving behind a desert like landscape of bright-white salt, rock formations and cacti-studded islands. Amazingly gorgeous and breath taking and definitely soothing.
Not to forget a couple of other destinations that are so distinctive in Bolivia, like Lake Titicaca with its ancient Incan ruins. The island of the sun and lake Colorado.
Language
Well, apparently Bolivian speak a lot of languages, so the best one for you i guess will be , Spanish, as usual, unless you speak Paraguayan.

Salteñas, the quintessential Bolivian breakfast, oven-baked pastry filled with peas, carrots, potatoes and meat, drowning in copious amounts of sweet and spicy gravy.
